You’ve just lost track of where you’re going.
Or where you’ve come from.
If you’re anything like most people, you will tend to question the direction that your life is taking. Be it in personal relationships, career paths or the simple process of ageing; there are frequent ‘uncertain’ moments that crop up.
They make you unsteady.
They make you question what’s going on.
But ultimately they’ll make you stronger.
See when things become uncertain, you have to engage your brain. You have to switch from auto-pilot into manual control and think things through. Think about what is going on and how you want to impact it.
Change is always going to be unsettling, but it can also be hugely empowering. It gives a chance for growth, to pivot to a positive path and to have a different focus. After all, a change is as good as a rest.
It’s something that we as humans have been conditioned to see as potentially overwhelming. We’ve been conditioned to be employees, to work the 9 to 5 and to stick to the status quo. To buy the overpriced coffee and aspire to have the latest car or bigger house.
But what if this is the path that everyone else is unhappily taking?
Have a look around when you’re out in the world and see how many people are truly happy, and how many are simply following what they believe will make them happy.
So what is the point in this all?
Well if you’re not lost, you’ve been found out.
Be grateful to have the chance to redefine yourself, to realign what you want to find in life, to take a step back and consider if the current path is the correct one.
So don’t fear being ‘not fully found’.
You’re not lost, you’re just finding a new version of you.
