Even as an avid reader of “self-help” literature, there’s nothing that beats lived experiences.
You can read all of the advice and guidance and tips that are on the market, but unless you’re putting this into practice – it’s pointless.
Being armed with all of this knowledge and not using it, is like having the world’s biggest toolbox, but never actually hammering a nail!
Cherry picking the best pieces of advice and embedding them into your lifestyle and routine means that you can learn what works and what doesn’t. Remember that not everything works for everybody. Not everyone will benefit from getting up at 4am after all…
Take the opportunity to give the strategies time to work – there are no overnight fixes – and then select the ones that suit you and drive you to become better.
But most importantly, do something with the knowledge. Don’t just let it sit on the shelf once you’ve finished reading it.
The book is finished, but the new chapter is just beginning.
