The Perfection Perception

In a world that constantly pushes for perfection, take a step back and understand that nothing is truly perfect.

Social Media Skew

Believing everything that you see on social media is your first mistake.

Nobody has everything perfect.

We’ve become conditioned to see snippets of life as the norm, causing us to feel inferior by comparison.

Nobody is showing their ‘average’ on Instagram.

Identifying What You Have

Self-exploration allows for deeper thinking. Looking at what you have – be it skills, ethics or a vision – gives you a foundation to build upon.

Everybody has something that can provide worth or value to others.

Be humble, but not too modest.

Maximising What You’ve Got

It doesn’t have to be perfect to work.

Once you’ve identified it, decide what you’re going to do with it.

Commit to honing your craft, learning from others who created successes; then individualise it to make yourself stand out from the crowd.

Appreciating Where You Are

Too often we look towards the end goal and the tangible outcomes that are associated with it. But you have to appreciate the process too.

You’re better today than you were yesterday and tomorrow gives another chance to improve further.

Embrace it!
