Avoid Compounding Misery

Because one mistake doesn’t define you.

But compounding it with another does.

We have all been there, we’ve made one error, one mistake, one slip-up. That’s the day ruined – might as well compound it with another mistake. And then another.

One deviation from your diet becomes a day lost; becomes an ‘I’ll start again next week’…on a Thursday.

But it doesn’t have to be like that.

We’re all human and by nature will make mistakes. However, we don’t have to make another mistake by compounding that misery.

Scold yourself for that error, but then compartmentalise it.

It’s one small blip. It doesn’t define you.

Change your next habits to account for the problem and start to even it out.

It’s the next step that defines you. Take it.
